GALERIE D'AVIGNON
ART CONTEMPORAIN / CONTEMPORARY FINE ART

Tarcisio
Cerrado

Born 1963 in Brazil. Lives and works in Montreal, Quebec, where he obtained his Masterís in History and Theory of Architecture at McGill University.
European Philosophy and Depth Psychology (C.G. Jung) are the corner stone of his world view and his painterly works often reflect the need to relate the questions of the technological reality of our world to the complex dynamics of the human psyche (individual and collective).
He holds to the notion that a work of art should strive to touch on qualities of the human psyche which are beyond the dictates of pure fashion.
